Flea Attack! Another find at The Brooklyn Flea. You just never know what you are going to see there! I came across these great industrial metal bins. Factory carts, iron wheels and anything industrial is in big demand. And why not, at least you know they were built to last. The fun thing is that you can re-purpose these metal baskets and bins for use in your own home and add style to your storage needs at the same time. I liked these metal containers so much that I had to get some for HudsonGoods.com.

OMG! I’m dying over here. I seriously need a bib right now. I’ve drooled all over me and the monitor. WOW, Karl. Those are amazing. I never get this lucky to find stuff like this. Have a great weekend!
Hello Karl – you have hit the jackpot with these! You really do find the best stuff. I too, have a puddle of drool by my keyboard. I love the vintage wire baskets and folder baskets. I would use those in my school room! Just the perfect amount of rust. You’ve got the best shops there! Slim pickins here in San Diego for anything rusty or cool like that. I’m so happy you’ve got some in your shop to share with us!
Blessings to you,
Marie
Absolutely, that is THE kind of stuff that I look for at estate sales. I live in Omaha, Nebrasaka and this sort of stuff seems bountiful. Probably not everyone’s cup of tea when I sand the wood, polish the metal and laquer all. But, I love how it looks when I do that and put in the house to use as furniture or storage or accent.
Wonderfuls finds !!
What are you asking for the bins in the second photo from the top? How many do you have?
For those in Chicago, you can stop by Scout in Andersonville and grab a few of containers like the one in the top photo. I think they were like $75 a piece. The store is pretty cool too.
