Industrial Factory Carts and Stools

Industrial wood and metal carts, rusted metal wire baskets and iron and wood stools, I’m in heaven! This industrial factory cart has definitely paid it’s dues but I could see it’s retirement as a great working island in the kitchen. It has a worn wood top that’s perfect for cutting and the metal is so heavy that it just doesn’t move. Of course, it has wheels if you want to move it.

The rusted metal baskets would go great in the kitchen too. Rarely do you see round vintage metal wire baskets and these would be perfect for storing produce. And to complete the picture add a good working industrial stool to use while you’re taking that much needed coffee break. Repurposing vintage industrial furnishings has really extended their normal life expectancy. Maybe they should have invested in a good 401K plan!

Popular as ever, I came across a great selection of vintage industrial factory carts. I like this collection of factory carts, bins and tables because they still have some of the original colorful paint on them. Some carts are multi-tiered and some combine metal and natural worn wood.

The distressed wood shows the years of hard labor these industrial tables clocked in. And they are still going strong today, although re-purposed for a more relaxing lifestyle in your home or mine.

Industrial Fish Carts

Industrial factory carts, well, more like industrial FISH carts. These carts are used to haul loads of fish down at New York City’s Fulton Fish Market. Sorry I didn’t get any photos of the fish, but you have to be there at 5am, not happening!

Take a look at the cool wood and metal wheels and then see what Fishs Eddy is doing with them, no pun intended! This retailer is selling the wheels and believe it or not making fork and spoon chandeliers out of them.
