Nothing makes a room like a ceiling full of glass bottle pendants. I always say that lighting can make or break the overall design style of a room. It’s easy to find a light that’s bright enough to eat or read by but finding a light that turns a room from ordinary to extraordinary can be a little more challenging. Unless you decide to hang these glass bottle pendants.
Glass Bottle Pendants
Hand blown glass bottles in different sizes are suspended from this ceiling to create a dramatic lighting effect. Long gone are the days of hanging a single chandelier or pendant over the dining room table. Instead these pendants are hung in a cluster at different lengths to create a lighting display that is truly one of a kind. There are a lot of them but somehow the clear glass and soft vintage bulbs make it all work. These pendants hang over a the dining area of a commercial restaurant where patrons can be demanding. They not only want good food but also a good atmosphere to dine in as well. And they should get both as they are paying for the experience to dine out. They want to see something different than they do at home and these glass bottle pendants deliver on that expectation. When I walk into a room my eye is drawn immediately to the lighting just like in this first photo. But I quickly notice what is beneath these glass bottle pendants and I am equally impressed. Neatly set tables with fine wine and linens that are illuminated by this impressive lighting display. It makes me want to sit down, eat and be happy. Bon appetit.
