If you are a flower enthusiast or have a green thumb then you ill appreciate the workmanship that went into making these planter boxes. Available in four different sizes so that you can plant small blooms in the summer or a large tree in the winter. Use them indoors or outside and these wood planters will add classic style to your home.
Oak Wood Planter Boxes
These oak wood planters were inspired by the original orange tree planters used at the Chateau de Versailles back in the 17th century. The Chateau was built by Louis XIV in 1682 in the little country village of Versailles. However, today it is a wealthy suburb of Paris and the Chateau is a main attraction for Parisians and tourists alike. If you know anything about the Palace of Versailles it is one big building so it’s no surprise they needed a lot of landscaping to match. Orange trees were in abundance and they were planted in containers similar to these oak wood planter boxes. Made with a cast iron frame, feet and ball finials, the side panels are made from reclaimed pine that was salvaged from old buildings and barns. Perfect for hotel lobbies or proudly displayed on the front steps of your home, these planters can be used outside or in any room indoors. We may not live in the Chateau de Versailles but these planters can make us feel like we do. Now get planting.
