Lava rocks or dining table. This outdoor stone dining table is both. There’s a reason why this big table is displayed prominently on a bed of lava rocks. Not because it looks so pretty but because it’s made from real lava rocks. That’s right, straight from the volcanic ashes it doesn’t get hotter than this. Of course, the rocks have cooled down and the table top is now one large slab of stone. But this is still one hot looking table.
Outdoor Stone Dining Table
Lava rock is no ordinary stone. It is the molten rock that pours outside of the volcano during an eruption. Once the lava flow cools and solidifies it becomes an igneous rock similar to that within our planet’s core. Above the surface lava is a liquid that can reach temperatures as high as 2,192 degrees Fahrenheit. Below the surface the molten rock has cooled and makes up for about 85 percent of the Earth’s core. The crushing pressures deep inside our planet prevent the rock from turning to liquid. Fortunately, this outdoor stone dining table is not as complicated as geothermal energy and you didn’t need to take Earth Science in High School to understand it. Instead, this stone table is meant to be looked at for it’s simple beauty and appreciated for entertaining family friends both indoors and out. That’s right this table is so nice that it looks and functions just as good on the outdoor deck as it does in the formal dining room. Got rock?
