I’m puttin’ on my top hat.

Top Hat, White Tie and Tails was written by Irving Berlin and introduced by Fred Astaire in the 1935 movie Top Hat.

Now we’re taking off our top hats and lighting up the dance floor with vintage industrial design. Made from real vintage top hats, these lights were easy to make. A small hole drilled through the top, a little flame retardant spray and a simple light socket kit, and these vintage lights are ready to dance.

Vintage industrial design lets you think outside the box, or in this case, outside the hat box. A collection of vintage top hats that would normally be displayed on a shelf only to gather dust can now be enjoyed every day with a simple switch of the light.

So next time you want to personalize your space with unique lighting or design, go vintage and think outside the hat box.
