Vintage Rickshaw Chandelier

Vintage rickshaw or vintage chandelier. Why not both.

This might be over the top to make a point, or should I say over the rickshaw. But interior design should be what you want it to be. Your personal space should be a form of self expression. It says something about who you are and what makes you happy. So if your passion happens to be vintage rickshaws then hang one as a vintage chandelier. Some might think crazy but who cares what they say. I say how cool is that.

The pulled rickshaw with only two wheels was invented in Asia in the late 1800’s. It had only two wheels and was generally pulled to transport passengers to where they wanted to go. Not much later a third wheel was added and the cycle rickshaw quickly gained popularity over the traditional two wheel version. Today, cycle rickshaws are used mostly for entertainment in major cities for tourists to view local attractions. But if you’re lucky enough to find a vintage rickshaw then show it off in your own unique way. This rickshaw may not have any lights but it’s hung from the ceiling just like a grand vintage chandelier and it commands attention. Express yourself.
