Punk band or punk lighting?
I like The Ramones and even The Clash, but my favorite is steampunk lighting.
Just like punk bands are a subculture of rock music, steampunk is a subculture of science fiction. Based on part fantasy and part industrialized technology, steampunk design depicts how people in the 19th century envisioned modern technology and it typically featured steam powered machinery. Although today’s technology is sleek and minimal, proponents of steampunk design add gadgets and gizmos just for the fun of it.
Made from solid iron, these heavy pendants reflect an industrial steampunk style. Bolts and curvy iron brackets have been added to these lights for no particular reason. They serve no mechanical function and are just there for the fun of it. So put some fun back into your kitchen and hang these steampunk pendants over the center island or the bar counter. Either way you use these lights they will add some fun and industrial steampunk style to your space
In 2011, The Ramones were awarded a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
