I wanted a Ferrari for Christmas and all I got was this vintage toy pedal car. If you’re a car enthusiast it’s easy to understand why I would want to cruise around in a Ferrari but I also understand that this vintage toy pedal car is a lot more cost effective. So I will be pedaling my way to work each day because this toy car is very cool as well. What boy or girl wouldn’t want to wake up on Christmas morning to find this red Ferrari sitting under the tree. Count me in.
Vintage Toy Pedal Car
Ferrari road cars are a symbol of speed, luxury and wealth so it’s no surprise that a vintage toy pedal car was manufactured in it’s image. Boys or girls don’t have to wait for their learner’s permit to enjoy the thrill of driving one of the best sports cars on the road today. But this particular toy pedal car is vintage just like the infamous brand Ferrari. Ferrari, an Italian sports car manufacturer based in Maranello, was founded by Enzo Ferrari in 1929. While Americans were enduring the Great Depression, the Italians were making great sports cars. The company started by manufacturing only race cars and later moved to production of street legal cars in 1947. Ferrari has been publicized as the most powerful car brand in the world. And what might have helped that brand image was the sale of a 1962 Ferrari in 2012 for over $38 million, making it the most expensive selling car in history. Not bad for an old car. On second thought, maybe I’ll hold onto this 1960 vintage toy pedal car. Who knows, maybe one day it will be the second highest selling car in history. Thank you Santa.
