At one time or another we could all use a few vintage wood kneeling angels in our lives. Why is it that so many of us will take to a knee when times are bad. When tragedy hits, or we just can’t handle another bad day, we often will take to prayer. We might pray at night before we fall asleep or if bad enough we might stop mid day and pray for things to get better. But if we had a set of kneeling angels by our side we might be reminded to pray more often. Even in good times to be thankful. We would probably all agree that a guardian angel can’t be a bad thing.
Vintage Wood Kneeling Angels
An angel is generally defined as a supernatural being that can be found in many different religions and mythologies. They are often depicted as benevolent celestial beings who act as intermediaries between God, Heaven and Humanity. Angels have also been known to protect and guide us everyday humans in carrying out God’s will. In art, angels are usually depicted in the shape of human beings with exceptional beauty and often portrayed with bird wings, halos and bright shining light. The idea that angels guard over some people has been around since Ancient times. They are actually called Guardian Angels. Defined as an angel assigned to protect and guide us through our everyday hectic lives. Sounds like a good deal to me. I don’t know anyone that would be quick to turn that offer down. Maybe these kneeling angels are the next best thing. Count me in, I’m ready to take a knee.
