Which came first, the wood dining table or the chair.
The age old question of which came first the chicken or the egg transcends even to a wood dining table and chair. We use a dining table to serve and eat our food but most of us prefer to eat sitting down. Was the dining table invented first and then man didn’t like eating his food standing up. Or did man sit down and not like eating his food out of his lap. I’m not sure but one of them definitely had to come first as you only have two hands to make a wood table or chair. But before we answer the question, if I had to sit and eat at a dining table I would want it to be this one. Made from solid oak wood, this dining table is built as strong as a tree trunk. And I like the way it looks. Left almost in it’s natural state, this wood is rustic with distress marks and a natural wood finish. Eat what you want, when you want and spill what you want because it won’t make a difference to this table. And if I had to sit on a wood chair it would most likely be this one. Made from reclaimed wood palettes, it doesn’t get any stronger than this. A heavy metal frame with thick wood slats makes this chair indestructible just like those heavy wood palettes. So back to the question of which came first, the wood dining table or the chair. Honestly, I have no idea but I’m glad we have both.
