Reclaimed, recycled and reborn.

You would be surprised as to what you can do with old wood. Save those old wood crates and strip them apart. Add a light bulb and you’ve got a reclaimed wood light. I like this light even better because it still has the old paint on the wood. You couldn’t paint wood like this if you tried. Going green can look great. Check out the mirror behind this reclaimed wood chandelier. It too is made from salvaged wood. This mirror is big and the reclaimed wood frame is thick and heavy. Made from recycled hard wood, this mirror will look great in any room. So save that wood and hang a recycled light or mirror. It’s good to be green.

UFO sighting.

Well almost. This grouping of vintage industrial lights look like unidentified flying objects. But closer inspection revealed they are industrial lights with a cool vintage metal finish. These lights look great in a group and would work well in the kitchen or den. Forget the office or factory, these industrial lights are ready to move into your home. An extra bonus on these lights is the vintage metal cage that covers the bulb for that real industrial look. And the metal on these lights gets only better with age. UFO or vintage industrial lighting? Maybe Steven Spielberg would know.

What would Julia Child think?

If these vintage style appliances don’t get you cooking, nothing will. I don’t cook but if I had these vintage appliances, the kitchen would become my favorite room in the house. Vintage in design, these kitchen appliances are brand new. I usually like earth tones found in different woods and industrial metal but every once in awhile you need a splash of color. And what a splash these  appliances make. I can see them in a kitchen with a vintage chrome table and an industrial metal luncheonette pendant light hanging overhead. So check these appliances out and get cooking!
