Pee Wees, Croakers and Cat’s Eyes, remember them? They are hard to find these days but you can get a peek at some at Fishs Eddy. I remember carrying my collection of marbles around in a metal lunch box, sometimes two boxes! And those metal boxes full of marbles weren’t light either. I would go to a friend’s house with them, not sure what we did with them but I know we spent a lot of time playing with them.

Vintage Swedish Clocks

Hickory, Dickory, Dock. The mouse would have a long way to run up these clocks! Standing well over 6 feet tall, these curvy case clocks originated in Sweden and were made of all wood and usually painted in creams, whites, blues and grays. Thanks goes to King Gustav III, 1771-1792, for these beautiful french inspired Swedish clocks. They are true classic Swedish design. So enough of the history lesson, enjoy the photos!
